Loading... Please wait...LARGE Swaddle Straps are for babies with chests that measure 16 inches or more (measured under the arm). If your baby is in between sizes, go with the larger size! A baby that has been using the strap since they were smaller can wear it up to 17 inches. But a large is best for 16 or more inches chest circumference.

The swaddle strap was a life saver! Our daughter never enjoyed the process of being swaddled with blankets, but once she was swaddled she would calm down & sleep through the night. However, at 3 months, she discovered that kicking her legs would loosen the blanket & free her arms so she could grab her face & wake herself up! After re-swaddling several times a night, we were desperate. I ordered this product & the first night she slept the entire night again. It allows her the freedom to move her legs without freeing her arms & ultimately waking her up. Such a relief! She sleeps so soundly & the best part is it's lightweight for seasonal changes. We live in Ohio & the weather changes drastically from day to day. Swaddle blankets are not practical when it's really warm. We adjust her sleepwear accordingly & the swaddle strap goes overtop perfectly, no worrying if she's too warm. Thank for the ingenious, must-have, swaddle strap!

I have a 5-month old houdini son who has broken out of every single swaddle we have bought for him (swaddle pod, miracle blanket, swaddlme, sleepsack, regular swaddle blankets, etc). And while he has also broken out of the Swaddle Strap a couple of times, it usually stays put and let's him sleep! And to be fair, each time he has broken an arm out, I've noticed that we weren't as diligent in assuring that the "pillow" in the strap wasn't properly pushed down on top of his arm.
We learned quickly that he wakes himself with his hands (rubbing his eyes, etc) in the middle of the night, keeping him from sleeping for long periods of time. The Swaddle Strap kept his arms away from his face, allowed his legs to be free (which he seemed to prefer), and allowed us to change his diaper without unswaddling him.
Most mornings we find him still swaddled and cooing to himself, so this is the swaddle we'll continue to use until our son doesn't need a swaddle any more.

We have a 5month old who we tried to wean out of his swaddle because he was always getting out of it. He's abnormally tall so the regular swaddles dont fit. He's not chubby, just long, and boy does he know how to get out of things. However he wouldn't sleep well without being swaddled. This works PERFECT! it doesn't matter how tall your baby is this works! I plan to get this for everyone I know who has a baby. AWESOME!!!
